Jump Westminster LLC, which operates as Sky Zone Trampoline Park, has filed for bankruptcy protection, according to court documents.
The indoor trampoline park, at nearly 32,000 square feet, is one of the largest tenants at the Westminster Mall.
The business, which has a San Juan Capistrano mailing address, is operated by franchisee James Bellino, the ex-husband of former “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Alexis Bellino.
The bankruptcy is the latest news coming out of the 46-year-old mall.
The Business Journal reported in November homebuilder Taylor Morrison Home Corp. struck a deal to pay Washington Prime Group (NYSE: WPG) $160.1 million for a 43.1-acre portion of the mall. The deal, expected to close in the second half of 2022, calls for some 825 residential units to be built on the site.
Elsewhere at the mall, Kaiser Permanente paid $40 million for a 10-acre plot at the mall to build a medical office.
