Kia and Hyundai Release NFT Collection with New Vehicles

AUTOMAKERS: Over 15K NFTs total, second NFT collection debuted

Kia America Inc. of Irvine and Hyundai Motor America of Fountain Valley have released NFT collections with the 2023 Kia Soul and the IONIQ 6, respectively.

Kia’s 10,100 NFTs are available on NFT platform Sweet NFT, while Hyundai’s 5,000 NFTs were distributed via airdrop.

The Kia NFT collection draws inspiration from NFT marketplace Dead Army Skeleton Klub, whose most popular characters made an appearance in the automaker’s recent ad for its Soul crossover.

Hyundai’s NFTs randomly combines backgrounds, colors and objects that can create tens of thousands of NFT iterations, the automaker said.

Both automakers have previously released their first NFT collections earlier this year.
