VinFast Auto LLC, a San Mateo-based EV maker, has opened a store in Irvine Spectrum for new and existing customers.
The new store allows guests to explore VinFast products as well as its two electric SUVs, the VF 8 and VF 9, which start at $42,000 and $57,500 respectively.
The company, founded in 2020, is “rapidly expanding our retail system to bring direct product experiences to customers and meet their vehicle needs,” VinFast CEO Giang Nguyen said in a statement. “This will not only be where the customers learn more about VinFast’s products but also a place to connect VinFast to the customers and take care of them for a lifetime of car ownership.”
The company’s Irvine Spectrum location is one of four California store openings slated for this month. Other new VinFast locations include stores in Marina Del Rey and Canoga Park, with an upcoming opening at Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance.
The recent store openings bring VinFast’s total location count to 10.
