Irvine-based Club Pilates continues its franchising momentum with a new deal struck for the Houston, Dallas and Central Florida areas in what the company said is one of its largest deals.
The agreement with David Schuck includes 13 already operating studios, along with the license to develop 16 more. Schuck already ran seven studios prior to the deal.
Club Pilates is part of a portfolio of boutique fitness concepts under Irvine-based Xponential Fitness Inc. (NYSE: XPOF) that totals nine brands.
The pilates concept is Xponential’s largest at nearly 650 locations globally. It has opened more than 87 studios since the beginning of 2020.
Xponential shares were trading down 1.8% to $12.65 on Wednesday for a market cap of $622.7 million.
