Newport Beach-based Tarsadia Hotels sold the Courtyard by Marriott Anaheim Hotel, at 2045 S. Harbor Blvd. next to the Anaheim Convention Center and Disneyland Resort, for $25 million, or $163,399 per room. Maryland’s Chesapeake Lodging Trust bought the 153-room, four-story hotel. Tarsadia, which owns eight hotels in Anaheim, San Diego and Northern California, is set to continue managing the hotel for Chesapeake Lodging. The deal is part of a two-hotel sale by Tarsadia that also included the 188-room Hilton Checkers in Downtown Los Angeles, which sold for $46 million. Tarsadia is expected to put the proceeds of the sales toward buying other hotels. Jordan Richman of Grubb & Ellis Co. with Felix Cacciato of Hotel Equity Advisers represented Tarsadia and Chesapeake Lodging.
