Costa Mesa-based Mother’s Market & Kitchen, which operates a chain of organic grocery stores, leased a 13,000-square-foot retail building at 413 S. Associated Road in Brea. The store is in the Brea Plaza Shopping Center, which is undergoing an estimated $35 million remodeling. The store is set to open in the spring. It’ll be Mothers’ seventh store, with others in Costa Mesa, Irvine, Huntington Beach and elsewhere in the county. Terms of the lease weren’t disclosed. Mother’s was represented by Jeffrey Simonds of Voit Real Estate Services. Landlord Bosc California BP LLC was represented by Retail Advisory Group of Pasadena.
