REAL ESTATE DEALS

SALE

The 13-building Grove Park Apartments in Garden Grove were sold for $14.3 million. The 104 apartments sold for $137,500 each. Irvine-based Jamboree Housing Corp., which develops and manages affordable housing, bought the apartments from Bell Diversified Development Inc. Five of the buildings are on Keel Avenue with the rest on Morningside Avenue in the Buena Clinton neighborhood. Jamboree Housing plans to spend $24 million to renovate the apartments as part of the city’s efforts to improve the area. The apartments are set to rent to families who earn 30% to 60% of the area’s median income. The complex includes 72 one-bedroom, one-bath apartments, 16 two-bedroom, one-bath models and 16 three-bedroom, two-bath units. John Nguyen of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services represented both parties.
