Planet Fitness, part of New Hampshire-based gym operator PFIP LLC, leased a 20,435-square-foot building at 1620 W. Katella Ave. in Anaheim. The value of the 10-year lease wasn’t disclosed. Planet Fitness will be near CVS, Big Lots and Food 4 Less. The company took occupancy immediately and plans to open its doors in May. Planet Fitness has 325 locations and more than 2 million members nationwide. Steve McClurkin and Garrett Colburn of Grubb & Ellis Co. represented the tenant. Matt Hammond and Thomas Tway of Coreland Cos. represented landlord Euclid Shopping Center LLC.
