McDermott & Bull, an executive search firm, leased office space at 2 Venture Plaza in Irvine for its headquarters. The company—which has offices throughout California—caters to some of the big industries in Orange County, including technology, financial services, biotechnology and life sciences. The company counts Allergan Inc., Abbott Medical Optics Inc., Western Digital Corp. and Conexant Systems Inc., among others, as clients. The 3-year lease of 5,251 square feet in the 98,607-square-foot building was estimated at more than $400,000, according to the published asking rates. Jeff Manley and Clint Hubbard of Cresa Partners LLC represented the tenant. Muna Abu-Sada of Olen Properties Corp. represented landlord Olen Properties.
