Premier Mounts to Move From Anaheim to Fullerton

Anaheim-based audiovisual products maker Premier Mounts is moving to smaller headquarters at 1321 S. State College Blvd. in Fullerton.

It also will continue to house manufacturing, design and some warehouse operations at the site. The company is shifting 80% of its logistics operations to a warehouse in Memphis, Tenn., which it said is better suited to serve its customers throughout the U.S.

Premier Mounts said it has no plans to scale back on its work force of 70 employees in OC. The privately owned company makes mounts and carts for audiovisual equipment, including flat-panel display mounts, speaker systems and accessories. It works with display manufacturers here and globally and sees about $25 million in annual revenue.

Premier Mounts will take 65,000 square feet at the new building next month, when the lease on the Anaheim building ends. Its current headquarters covers about 150,000 square feet.

“We’re going smaller and more efficient,” said spokesman Tom Noack. “Our current building is 50 years old, and it doesn’t have any energy provisions right now. At the new building, we’ll have things like high-cube stacking. We can do much more warehousing much more efficiently.”

The company also expects to add more machinery in Fullerton for faster production.

Premier Mounts was founded in 1977 in Brea and has been in Anaheim for the past 15 years.
