Newport Heights Home Trades for $6.5M

Record for neighborhood’s interior streets

A home in Newport Beach’s Newport Heights neighborhood sold this week for $6.5 million.

The deal marked a record for the community’s interior streets, whose prior record was $5.9 million, set by the sale of 317 Aliso Ave. last year.

The 5,800-square-foot property, at 516 Tustin Ave., comprises of five bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

The newly constructed, contemporary home is about a mile from the host of restaurants, cafes, grocers and other retail spots lining E. 17th St.

The agents involved in the deal included Sara Joata, Paul Lester, Aileen Comora and Daniel Stevenson of PAD & Associates and Caruso Group’s Michael and Phillip Caruso. The undisclosed buyer purchased the home with Ashley Zarlin and Garrett Weston of Coldwell Banker Realty. Weston also represented the seller for 317 Aliso Ave.

The record for all of Newport Heights—which comprises of over 300 homes—is $13.8 million, set by 104 Kings Pl. last year.
