Irvine-based LBA Realty has purchased an 81,712-square-foot office building in Carlsbad for $15.6 million. LBA will lease the majority of the space, at 5770 Armada Drive, to SkinMedica Inc., according to a June 6 report by CoStar Group.
SkinMedica, based in Carlsbad, develops and markets anti-aging and other types of skin cream.
The building in the Carlsbad Ranch office district was built in 1998 and sits on approximately five acres. The seller, Carlsbad Ranch LP, was represented by brokerage firm Cushman & Wakefield, and LBA represented itself, according to CoStar.
