Orange-based J.L. Patterson & Associates Inc. has received a $7 million contract from Oceanside-based North County Transit District to provide bridge inspection and management services.
The civil, environmental and structural engineering firm will assess “bridge conditions, identify necessary repairs and develop recommendations for replacements.” It also will update the district’s Bridge Management Plan and create an annual priority list.
The contract also provides funds for oversight of upcoming bridge construction projects.
J.L. Patterson had $17.8 million in revenue and 95 employees in 2013 according to Business Journal estimates, and ranked No. 35 on the list of women-owned businesses based in Orange County.
