Mendocino Farms will open its first pickup and delivery only store in Orange County on Aug. 8 near Anaheim’s Platinum Triangle.
The ghost kitchen, located at 1560 S. Lewis St. “is a natural extension of our Orange County presence and brings a convenient, high quality pick up or delivery option to a new neighborhood in this market,” CEO Kevin Miles said in a statement.
The new location, which will use two combined kitchens within an existing cloud kitchen facility, plans to hire around 20 employees.
The Los Angeles-based food chain touts fresh and high-quality menu items including sandwiches and salads, and customers can order through the company’s website, app or third-party partners such as UberEats, DoorDash and Postmates.
In celebration of their grand opening, guests who sign up for a My Mendo account and select “Orange County-Anaheim Kitchen” as their favorite store will receive a free entrée.
The Anaheim kitchen will mark Mendocino Farms’ fifth location in Orange County. The chain will open two new local outposts by next spring with two fast-casual restaurants in Aliso Viejo and San Juan Capistrano.
