Landsea Opens Placentia Townhome Community

Newport Beach homebuilder has homes for sale across Orange County

Newport Beach’s Landsea Homes Corp., the largest publicly traded homebuilder based in Orange County, has opened its newest residential community in Orange County.

Hudson in Placentia includes 139 three-story townhomes in a gated community. The homes range from 775 to 1,368 square feet with options for one to three bedrooms and one-and-a-half to two-and-a-half bathrooms.

Prices begin at $496,000 with model homes available.

“There is strong interest in the homes at Hudson, as evidenced by the impressive turnout of potential homebuyers at our grand opening weekend,” said Patrick Higgins, vice president of sales and marketing in the Southern California division.

The project is at 443 S. Van Buren St., a 5.7-acre parcel south of Orangethorpe Avenue previously used as an auto lot. Construction began in April.

Elsewhere in Orange County, Landsea is selling homes in Anaheim and San Juan Capistrano at its Nolin and Petra neighborhoods.
