Christa Steele, a veteran tech executive and board member, has joined the Lantronix Inc. board as an independent director, the computer networking products maker said today.
“Lantronix (Nasdaq: LTRX) will benefit greatly from her extensive experience, including positions as CEO and board member for public and privately held companies,” company CEO and President Saleel Awsare said in a statement.
Steele currently serves on the boards of Velocity Risk, The Doctors Company and Tanimura & Antle, and previously was interim CEO for Balco Holdings Inc.
The company’s shares fell 1.4% to $6.44 apiece for a market cap of $239 million.
