Newport Beach’s CapRock Breaks Ground on Dallas Project

The Newport Beach company has about 3 million square feet of industrial projects across Texas in various stages of development

Newport Beach-based CapRock Partners has started construction on a 483,128-square-foot industrial complex in Sunnyvale, its first ground-up project in Texas.

The project, called Clay Road Business Park, will span three buildings at 101 Clay Road and is slated for completion in the first quarter of 2027, officials from the industrial real estate developer said.

Officials did not disclose the project’s cost.

The development sits about 15 miles east of downtown Dallas, near Highway 80, one of the region’s logistics hubs.

Officials at CapRock, which has developed more than 35 million square feet since 2009, said it currently has about 3 million square feet of industrial projects across Texas in various stages of development or acquisition.
