Data analytics software maker Alteryx Inc. (NYSE: AYX) reported third-quarter revenue well above analysts’ estimates, sending the company’s shares up more than 15%.
Revenue for the third quarter was $232 million, an increase of 8%, compared to revenue of $215 million in the third quarter of 2022. The average of 15 analysts cited by Yahoo called for quarterly revenue of $210 million.
Alteryx narrowed the quarterly loss to $50 million from $75 million a year ago.
Alteryx said revenue in the current quarter is expected to be in the range of $334 million to $340 million, representing year-over-year growth of 11% to 13%.
The shares were up 15.3% at $30.34 apiece for a market cap of $2.2 billion at 2.12 p.m. in New York.
