The Welsh Development Agency has opened an office in Newport Beach that will be the North American headquarters for the economic development arm of the government of Wales.
The office is being headed by Jeff Simcox, head of North American operations for the agency, which also has offices in five other U.S. cities and Ottawa.
Simcox said he will be targeting tech firms especially to interest them in locating operations in Wales.
