About a month after dropping the “Studley” from its name, Savills has brought on a new executive to its Newport Beach office.
JP Roach has joined Savills, known as the area’s top brokerage that exclusively represents tenants in leases and sales, as a senior managing director. He will work with Royce Sharf, executive vice president and branch manager.
Roach was previously with the OC office of Hughes Marino. Prior to that, he worked as a California attorney.
“I respected JP as a competitor, and I look forward to working with him as a colleague,” said Sharf, who founded Studley’s OC office in 1989.
Savills, which primarily services office and industrial clients, had $920 million in 2018 sales and lease transactions, up 8% from the year prior, according to Business Journal records.
