The Irvine headquarters of Alzheimer’s Orange County has sold for $9.1 million, or nearly $297 per square foot.

The company is downsizing operations and will be leasing back a portion of the 30,673- square-foot building.

The buyer, Newport CH International, is a scrap trading company formed in 2003. It will be occupying a portion of the office, which runs alongside the San Diego (405) Freeway.

G. Ryan Smith of George Urban Properties represented the buyer. Steve Economos and Geoffrey DeWolf of Economos DeWolf Inc. represented the seller.
