It doesn’t expect any changes to its Irvine headquarters, located at the Quad at Discovery Park office complex in the Spectrum area of the city, he said. The company occupies about 27,000 square feet at the Irvine Co.-owned campus, according to brokerage data.
It will consolidate offices in Austin, as both companies currently have offices in the city, and will maintain Compeat’s office in Petaluma.
It expects to retain the majority of Compeat’s 150 employees and form a single, unified leadership team, Smith said.
As far as working conditions go, it will give employees the option to be primarily remote or in-office employees. Those that choose to be in-office employees are asked to be in the office three or more days a week.
