Novartis to Push Ahead With Disputed Alcon Buyout

Swiss drugmaker Novartis AG is pushing ahead with its contentious buyout of Alcon Inc. minority shareholders after completing its acquisition of stock from Nestle SA to get control of the eyecare group.
