Midday Stock Roundup-take

The S&P 500 was down 0.3 % to 2,125.67. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.3% to 18,075.80. The NASDAQ was down 0.2% to 5,201.46.

The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond was down 1.7% to 1.76%.

The price of gold was up 0.1% to $1,257.

BANKING

Irvine-based Opus Bank was down 19.4% to $27.76 and a market cap of $951.5 million. The bank announced that its scheduled third quarter conference call will occur at 7 a.m. instead of 8 a.m. on Oct. 24.

TECHNOLOGY

Irvine-based Quality Systems Inc. was up 7.6% to $12.35 and a market cap of $759.6 million. The software maker for electronic health records announced, after the close of markets on Friday, that a wholly owned subsidiary developed a “suite of tools” in response to the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015.

RESTAURANTS

Lake Forest-based Del Taco Restaurants Inc. was up 2.6% to $12.44 and a market cap of $472.4 million. The casual dining chain plans to announce third quarter results after the markets close today.
