Midday Stock Roundup

Indexes were down in midday trading on continuing fallout from the United Kingdom’s “Brexit” vote to leave the European Union and European stock market declines.

The S&P 500 was down 1.9% to 1,998.86.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 1.6% to 17,115.38.

The NASDAQ was down 2.3% to 4,597.23.

The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond was down 8% to 1.45%.

The price of gold was up 0.2% to $1,324.

FINANCE

Costa Mesa-based Pacific Mercantile Bancorp was up 1% in a down market to $6.80 and a $156 million market cap.

HEALTHCARE

Newport Beach-based Alliance Healthcare Services Inc. was up 11% to 6.59 and a $70 million market cap on high volume. The company provides radiology and oncology services.
