Irvine-based Western Digital Corp. was down 5.5% to $45.65 and a $10.6 billion market cap. A news report said the memory products maker is raising yields by 1 percentage point on both parts of a $5.6 billion bond offering—called “the largest junk bond offering” in 2016—intended to help pay for the company’s purchase of rival SanDisk Corp.
HEALTHCARE
Laguna Hills-based Glaukos Corp., which makes products to treat glaucoma, was up 8.5% to $17.14 and a $555 million market cap on above average volume.
RESTAURANTS
Irvine-based Habit Restaurants Inc., a fast-casual hamburger chain, was up 6.6% to $19.26 and a $499 million market cap on moderate volume.
