Anaheim-based Willdan Group Inc. was up 4% to $14.65 and a $114 million market cap on heavy trading. Shares rose 6% yesterday and are moving this week at about double the engineering firm’s 90-day average.
AGRICULTURE
Newport Beach-based American Vanguard Corp. was up 3.7% to $11.65 and a $340 million market cap. Its shares rose 3% yesterday on word the chemical company bought an Israel-based company’s Nemacur pesticide business in Europe.
