Midday Stock Roundup

The S&P 500 fell 1.2% to 1,949.17 in midday trading.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 1.4% to 16,804.16 and the Nasdaq 1.5% to 4,425.55.

The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond fell 3.9% to 2.41%.

The price of gold was up 0.2% to $1,211.80.

TECHNOLOGY

Irvine-based CoreLogic Inc. was down 1.6% to $26.60 and a market cap of $2.4 billion. After markets closed yesterday it said it would sell two business units to Plano, Texas-based property inspection and maintenance company Mortgage Contracting Services LLC for $25 million to $45 million. CoreLogic said the sales are part of a larger plan to focus on its property data and analytics services.

HEALTHCARE

Irvine-based nutraceutical ingredient company ChromaDex Corp. was up 4.6% to $1.13 and a market cap of $121 million. The company closed on $5 million in debt financing from Palo Alto-based Hercules Technology Growth Capital Inc. for working capital and research and development.
