Midday Stock Roundup

 

The S&P 500 was flat at 4,184.47 during midday trading.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.1% to 33,937.58.

The Nasdaq decreased 0.3% to 14,101.79.

The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond climbed 1.9% to 1.6%.

The price of gold was down 0.2% to $1,777.50.

The price for a barrel of oil rose-fell to 0.8% to $62.43.

TECHNOLOGY

Ad tech company Viant Technology Inc. (Nasdaq: DSP) in Irvine rose 6.5% to $33.24 per share for a market cap of $1.9 billion. Viant announced earlier in the day that it had expanded its partnership with DoubleVerify for fraud prevention integration across all Adelphic channels, including connected TV.
 

HEALTHCARE

Irvine-based medical device maker Masimo Corp. (Nasdaq: MASI) fell 7% to $225.63 per share for a market cap of $12.4 billion. Masimo narrowly exceeded expectations in its first quarter as product sales increased, while shipping fewer technology boards compared to the same period a year ago, the company reported yesterday.
