HEALTHCARE
Edwards Lifesciences Corp. (NYSE: EW) in Irvine was up 2% to $156.29 with a market cap of $32.7 billion. The company announced on Friday that it received CE Mark, a certification mark indicating it meets specific standards to be sold within the European Economic Area, for the heart valve product SAPIEN 3 Ultra system. It will do a controlled rollout of the system in Europe and expects to receive approval in the U.S. by the Food and Drug Administration this year.
RESTAURANTS
BJ’s Restaurants Inc. (Nasdaq: BJRI) was down 7% to $58.69 on light volume to a market cap of $1.3 billion. Shares of the Huntington Beach-based casual dining chain have increased 60% for the year.
