Spectrum Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Nasdaq: SPPI) in Irvine was up 6% to $22.05 and a $2.3 billion market cap. Shares in the developer of drugs to treat cancer and blood diseases closed up 40% yesterday after it reported positive results of a Phase 2 study of a drug being tested for treatment of nonsmall-cell lung cancer.
ChromaDex Corp. (Nasdaq: CDXC) in Irvine was up 4% to $4.41 and a $242 million market cap. It makes nutritional products and ingredients.
