Edwards Lifesciences Corp. (NYSE: EW) in Irvine was up 2.5% to $130.28, within $2 of its all-time high, and good for a $27.6 billion market cap. Shares in the heart valve maker are up about 5% in the last two sessions; it beat forecasts and upped guidance last week.
Ensign Group Inc. (Nasdaq: ENSG) in Mission Viejo was up 3% to $23.66 and a $1.2 billion market cap. The health property owner bought two Texas assisted living facilities this week.
ChromaDex Corp. (Nasdaq: CDXC) in Irvine was up 8% to $4.84 and a $260 million market cap. ChromaDex makes nutritional ingredients.
