The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond was down 1% to 2.32%.

The price of gold up 0.6% to $1,297.

SERVICES

Foundation Building Materials Inc. (NYSE: FBM) was down 6% to $13.36 and a $571 million market cap. The construction materials maker said two hurricanes that negatively affected operations in four Southern states cut revenue and earnings projections for the current quarter.

RETAILERS

Orange County retailers declined on ongoing news about the Equifax data breach; the credit reporting agency took down a consumer website that was said to be involved in the issue.

Tilly’s Inc. (NYSE: TLYS) was down 4.4% to $11.43 and a $329 million market cap. It runs a chain of youth fashion stores.

Boot Barn Holdings Inc. (NYSE: BOOT) was down 4.6% to $7.80 and a $207 million market cap. It runs a chain of western apparel stores.
