New Home Co. Inc. in Aliso Viejo was up 10% to $11.68 and a $244 million market cap. The home builder earned $800,000 on revenue of $125 million in its most recent quarter, compared with loss of $800,000 on revenue of $86 million, year-over-year. Both revenue and profits exceeded company guidance and analyst expectations.
HEALTHCARE
ChromaDex Corp. in Irvine was up 14% to $2.87 and a $108 million market cap. The ingredients maker said a China-based investor would buy $25 million of its common stock in a private placement.
TECHNOLOGY
Lantronix was up 7% to $3.20 and a $56 million market cap. The maker of Internet of Things and IT products is scheduled to release quarterly results after markets close today.
