HEALTHCARE
Quality Systems Inc. in Irvine was up 3.5% to $14.96 and a $930 million market cap on moderate volume. The company makes software for medical practice management.
RETAIL
Irvine-based Tilly’s Inc. was up 11% to $13.20 and a $376 million market cap. The youth fashion apparel chain said same store sales for its recent quarter increased 0.1% year-over-year. It expects overall quarterly operating income to be about $10 million and profit between 21 cents to 22 cents per share. Tilly’s also declared a special dividend of $0.70 per share.
