TECHNOLOGY
Aliso Viejo-based Microsemi Corp. was down 1% to $41.15 and a $4.7 billion market cap. Analysts estimate that the semiconductor maker will report revenue of about $433 million, down about 3%, for the quarter ended Sept. 30.
MANUFACTURING
Santa Ana-based Universal Electronics Inc. was up about 1.4% to $73.56 and a $1.07 billion market cap after the company announced the $48 million sale of Gemstar Technology Co. Ltd. Universal Electronics makes remote controls for televisions.
SERVICES
Irvine-based Resources Connection Inc. was up 1.7% to $13.06 and a $478 million market cap. The increase occurred after Kate Duchene was announced as Interim Chief Executive Officer after outgoing President and Chief Executive Tony Cherbak resigned for health reasons on Friday.
