Irvine-based Tillys Inc. (NYSE: TLYS) fell 16% to $8.49 and a $251 million market cap. The youth fashion retailer yesterday forecast second quarter revenue below analysts’ consensus.
TECHNOLOGY
Veritone Inc. (NASDAQ: VERI) jumped 12% to $9.58 and a $198 million market cap. Veritone yesterday made a presentation at the annual Craig-Hallum Institutional Investor Conference in Minneapolis. Shares of the Costa Mesa company, which is trying to use artificial intelligence for ad monitoring, have almost tripled this year.
