Efforts to ramp services to clients on the digital and social media front are paying off for Casanova McCann with the Costa Mesa advertising agency’s most recent client win.
Vallarta Supermarkets, a Los Angeles-based chain of 50 supermarkets in California, tapped CM to be its agency of record for digital and social media.
The business includes influencer marketing, as well as creative and media.
The grocer’s Director of Digital Marketing and Social Media Ivette Serrano said in a statement the business was put up for review with the company “taking the digital landscape seriously” stressing the need for “a full-service agency to help us get to the next level.”
CM, for its part, has been pushing to increase its services on the digital front so “winning this great assignment is a signal that our plan is working well,” CM President and CEO Ingrid Oterio-Smart said in a statement.
The agency ranked No. 13 on last year’s Business Journal list of the largest advertising agencies in Orange County, with an estimated $25 million in 2018 revenue. It counts Nestlé, Chevrolet and General Mills among its clients.
