Vehicle tracking and management company CalAmp (Nasdaq: CAMP) in Irvine said Henry Maier, president and CEO of FedEx Ground, will be appointed to its board of directors effective June 1.
Since 2013, Maier has been responsible for the strategic direction and performance of FedEx Ground, a $22.7 billion subsidiary of FedEx Corp.
Shares in CalAmp fell almost 2% to $10.97 apiece for a market cap of $384 million after the appointment was announced today.
