Newport Beach-based Bixby Land Co. is bulking up its industrial portfolio outside of California.
The privately held REIT recently closed on three industrial buildings totaling 857,000 square feet in Atlanta and Dallas for an undisclosed price.
The buildings bring Bixby’s portfolio to more than 8 million square feet.
The new assets include a vacant 281,000-square-foot logistics center in Fairburn, Ga.; a fully-leased 304,000-square-foot building in Union City, Ga.; and a 272,000-square-foot vacant logistics center in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Stream Realty Partners will handle leasing for the vacant properties.
Bixby has about 1 million square feet of industrial and about 350,000 square feet of office space in Orange County.
