The Los Angeles Angels named MemorialCare Health System as its official healthcare partner.
The multi-year partnership focuses on positively impacting the health and wellness of Angels fans and Orange and Los Angeles counties by raising awareness of health issues such as cardiac health and cancer. Community outreach include events such as Initiative Nights at Angel Stadium that support and raise funds for specific health issues and MemorialCare sponsorship of the annual Angels 5K and Health Expo.
“With this partnership we will delight children at MemorialCare Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach with visits from Angels players,” MemorialCare Chief Executive Barry Arbuckle said in a press release.
Fountain Valley-based MemorialCare has four hospitals and more than 200 care locations.
