Irvine-based Americor Funding, a consumer debt relief company, is getting a new 75,000-square-foot office building built for it in Idaho; it will be the company’s first branch outside of California, and will nearly double its base of workers.
The $20 million, three-story building is part of Eagle View Landing, a nearly 52-acre office and retail campus under development in Meridian, which is just west of Boise and among the country’s fastest-growing cities.
The Americor building is the second office property to break ground at the site, and should open in about a year.
The consumer debt company said the office will create 500 to 800 jobs in the area.
Its headquarters are in the Irvine Towers office complex on Von Karman Avenue, where most of the company’s 600 employees are based.
It currently has a small Boise operation with about 30 employees, according to local news reports.
Eagle View Landing is being developed by Ball Ventures Ahlquist, and will ultimately hold nearly 1 million square feet of commercial and residential space.
