The American Advertising Federation of Orange County held its annual awards gala at the Balboa Bay Club in Newport Beach. Agencies receiving 2017 OC American Advertising Awards included:
• Innocean USA in Huntington Beach was recognized with Best of Show for Finish Line’s “Shoes So Fresh” campaign and took home the most trophies: 13 gold, 22 silver and 20 bronze
• Amusement Park in Santa Ana: three gold, three silver and five bronze
• Schiefer ChopShop Entertainment Inc. in Newport Beach: three gold and one bronze
• Blue C Advertising in Costa Mesa: one gold, one silver and two bronze
• Skiver Advertising in Costa Mesa: one gold, one silver and two bronze
• Rauxa in Costa Mesa: one gold
• 23FIFTN Media LLC in Orange: one gold; one silver and five bronze
• Maricich Healthcare Communications in Irvine: one gold and one silver
• GearShift Advertising in Costa Mesa: one gold and six bronze

• W Brand Studio in Newport Beach: one silver and one bronze

The winners will compete against those from other local clubs in one of 15 district competitions. District winners advance to compete on the national stage of the American Advertising Awards. The awards gala is scheduled for June 10 in New Orleans.
