A trio of newcomers have arrived in the Orange County Business Journal’s newsroom, including a reporter who will cover the vibrant healthcare industry here, which ranges from hospitals and insurers to makers of drugs medical devices.
Sherry Hsieh takes on the healthcare beat after nearly two years at Real Estate Finance & Investment, a New York-based online vertical publication that’s part of Pageant Media U.K. in London. She has an M.A. in Journalism from New York University, a B.A. in Comparative Literature she earned at University of California-Davis, and is fluent in Mandarin.

Alyssa Matsuhara has been promoted from editorial assistant to copy editor. She has worked for the past two years as part of the OCBJ’s research team, and recently graduated from University of California-Irvine with B.A.s in Political Science and Literary Journalism.
