UCI B-School Boosts Ranking

The University of California, Irvine’s business school rose 11 spots to rank No. 38 on this year’s U.S. News & World Report’s America’s Best Graduate Schools.

Andy Policano, dean of the Paul Merage School of Business, called the showing “a significant leap forward.”

Policano, who joined UCI last year from the University of Wisconsin at Madison’s business school, was brought on with an eye toward boosting the business school’s ranking.

Among public schools, UCI ranked No. 19 in U.S. News & World Report.

Harvard University tops the ranking. Stanford University is No. 2.

The University of California, Los Angeles’ Anderson School came in at No. 10. The University of Southern California’s business school ranked No. 29.
