Real Estate Deals



SALES

Hyundai Motors of America purchased a 7.4 acre parcel of land on the northeast corner of Bake Parkway and Irvine Center Drive in the Irvine Spectrum from The Irvine Company for $8 million. Hyundai plans to build the 90,000-square-foot Hyundai/Kia Design Center to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2002. Hyundai was represented by Donald Yahn of Cushman & Wakefield and The Irvine Co. was represented in-house by Grubb & Ellis.

Westwood Financial purchased the 82,000-square-foot retail center at Alicia Parkway in Mission Viejo from Farallon Gateway Ltd. for $15 million. Jim Fisher of Barry Powell & Associates represented Farallon Gateway and Dennis Vaccaro of Faris Lee Investments represented Westwood Financial.

K & G; Marketplace LLC sold the 45,872-square-foot retail center at 30501-30505 Avenida de las Flores in Mission Viejo for $8.3 million. The buyers, the Goodwin and Danzig family trusts, were represented by Bryan Holder of BD Holdings. K & G; was represented by Dennis Vaccaro and David Lee of Faris Lee Investments.

Milik & Nematalla of Diamond Bar purchased the Anna Apartments, the 16-unit complex at 608 N. Anna in Anaheim, for $1 million. The seller, Mr. and Mrs. Dahl of Irvine and the buyer were represented by Robert Sacks and Jennifer Esser of Sperry Van Ness.

LEASES

Vintage Wholesales added 26,587 square feet of space at 7373 Doig in Garden Grove. Bob Goodmanson, Brad Bierbaum and Brian DeRevere of CB Richard Ellis represented Vintage and Curt Stalder of Lee & Associates represented Hollingsworth Logistics, the landlord.

Equity Title signed a five-year lease for 14,256 square feet of space in Santa Ana’s Nexus Garden Plaza at 2112 E. Fourth St. The deal was valued at $1.4 million. Brad Rawlins and Allen Basso of Lee & Associates represented Equity and the landlord, Sunny Hills Management was represented in-house.
