RREEF paid an estimated $12 million to Mitsui Real Estate Sales USA Inc., part of Japan’s Mitsui & Co., for the 177,813-square-foot Commerce Park business park at 3303 Harbor Blvd. Rick Putnam of Trammell Crow Co. represented both parties.
McMorgan & Co. paid an estimated $8 million to TA Associates Realty for the 127,122-square-foot La Palma Distribution Center warehouse building at 5455 E. La Palma Ave. in Anaheim. The building serves as a distribution center for Detroit-based pizza chain Little Caesar Enterprises Inc. Robert Smith, Michael Kane, Karen Scholte and Jim Wootan of CB Richard Ellis Inc. represented the seller.
Newport Beach-based Saywitz Co. paid $2.4 million to Mar Vista LLC for the 22-unit Olinda Lane apartment complex at 3444 Olinda Lane in Anaheim. Gary Pesner of Sperry Van Ness represented the seller. Barry Saywitz represented his company.
Allied Modular Building Systems Inc. paid $2.6 million to Rohm & Haas for a 36,036-square-foot industrial building at 642 Nicolas Ave. in Orange. Nate Olson and Derek Tobiassen of Collins Commercial Corp. represented the seller. Ian Britton and Brad Bierbaum of CB Richard Ellis represented Allied Modular.
Aliso Viejo Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine paid $1.4 million to Aliso Creek Holdings LLC for a 6,855-square-foot office building at 27432 Aliso Creek Road in Aliso Viejo. Christine Bowen and John Matus of Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate Services Inc. represented the buyer. Jeff Cannon of Zuvich Cannon Associates represented the seller.
LEASES
Michigan’s Dart Container Corp. leased 243,000 square feet at 1235 Quarry St. in Corona from Newport Beach’s Larry Bedrosian. The transaction is valued at $1 million. Jeff Riscigno of Lee & Associates represented the tenant. Jeff Chiate and Rick Ellison of Cushman & Wakefield Inc. represented Bedrosian.
Monarch Distribution Services leased 100,000 square feet at 2001 Dyer Road in Santa Ana. The five-and-a-half-year lease is valued at $3 million. Monarch Distribution is relocating from within Santa Ana. Jeff Chiate and Rick Ellison of Cushman & Wakefield represented landlord Rock Valencia LLC. Phil Cohen of CB Richard Ellis represented Monarch.
Direct mailer Asset Data Direct leased 30,600 square feet of industrial space at 1101 S. Linwood Ave. in Santa Ana for five years in a deal valued at $1.1 million.
