KB Home paid $16 million to Anaheim-based SunCal Cos. for 91 lots at Fullerton’s Amerige Heights housing development. Mackey O’Donnell, Craig Atkins and Mike Hunter of O’Donnell/Atkins Co. handled the deal.
Newport Beach-based WLA Investments paid $7 million to Voit Development Co. for the 111,040-square-foot Imperial Business Park in Norwalk. Louis Tomaselli, Mitch Zehner and Paul Caputo of Voit Commercial Brokerage’s Anaheim Metro office handled the deal for Voit. Alan Pekarcik and Dan Vittone of Voit Commercial Brokerage’s Irvine office represented WLA.
Gilron Properties of Los Angeles paid $5.6 million to Santa Monica’s 18881 Mora Kai LLC for the 42-unit Melrose Gardens Apartments in Huntington Beach. Ken Morgan, Grant Hahn and Jay Skenderian of Morgan Skenderian Investment Real Estate Group represented the seller. Richard Lee from Century 21 handled the deal for Gilron.
Daleo Enterprises paid $2.15 million to American National Properties for a 27,167-square-foot flex building at 2199 N. Batavia St. in Orange. Patrick Delaney of Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate Services represented Daleo. Terry Tweedt of American National represented his company.
Globe Trotter Clothing Inc. paid $1.8 million to KAPAAR Inc. for a 16,556-square-foot industrial building at 1 Autry in Irvine. Patrick Delaney of Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate Services represented Daleo. Terry Tweedt of American National represented his company.
Northern California investor Sandra Chandler paid $1.6 million to Don Sanelli for a 20,280-square-foot office building at 1420 E. Edinger Ave. in Santa Ana. Charlie Winn and Ed Karagozian of Collins Commercial represented the seller. Matt Storms of Larkspur-based Keegan & Coppin represented the buyer.
James and Lorie Collins of Newport Beach paid $1.6 million to the Robert E. Parker Trust of Long Beach for a nine-unit apartment complex on Balboa Peninsula. David Eagle of Grubb & Ellis Co.’s Newport Beach office represented the parties.
Alex Bahrami paid $1.3 million to Cannery Village Realty for a 13,069-square-foot retail and office building at 22311 Brookhurst St. in Huntington Beach. Damon Wyler and Joseph Lising with Marcus & Millichap represented Bahrami. Scott Hook, also with Marcus & Millichap, represented the seller.
LEASES
Irvine-based Barbeques Galore Ltd. leased 98,821 square feet of warehouse space at 3355 E. Cedar St. in Ontario’s South Haven Business Park. The company is moving warehouse operations from Irvine. Zuvich Cannon Associates Inc. represented Barbeques Galore. CB Richard Ellis represented the landlord, Panattoni Development Co.
The Internal Revenue Service leased 60,000 square feet of space at 801 Civic Center Drive in Santa Ana for 10 years. The IRS handled the deal itself, as did landlord California Property Investments.
Russell Coil Co., a Carrier Corp. unit, renewed a lease for five years for 55,291 square feet of industrial space at 221 S. Berry St. in Brea in a deal valued at $1.2 million. Frank Rivas of USI Corp. represented Russell. Landlord Elaine Ortuno Trust handled the deal on its end.
Slate, Tile & Stone leased a 15,000-square-foot building at 1040 Vermont in Anaheim for three years in a deal valued at $291,600. Steve Schaner of Voit Commercial Brokerage represented Slate, Tile & Stone. Michael Hefner, also of Voit, represented the owner, L Bar Enterprises Inc.
Hardwood Creations leased 14,000 square feet of space at 555 Vanguard in Brea for five years in a deal valued at $500,000. Marisa Perez of Cushman & Wakefield represented Hardwood Creation, while landlord Trico Realty represented itself.
Omohundro Group leased a 36,974-square-foot building at 14792 Franklin in Tustin for six years in a deal valued at $1.5 million. Greg Diab and Jack Haley of Lee & Associates represented Omohundro. Jeff Mitchell and John Griffin of Voit Commercial Brokerage represented owner Mary C. Gonsalves Trust.
Countrywide Credit Industries Inc.’s Full Spectrum Lending leased for five years 4,995 square feet at 2500 E. Imperial Highway in Brea. The home lender is moving from a 2,645 square foot space within Imperial Center East. CB Richard Ellis’ Jeff Moore and his Focus Retail Group handled the deal.
Suffern, N.Y.-based Women’s retailer Dress Barn Inc. leased 6,678 square feet for a store at 2500 E. Imperial Highway in Brea. Jeff Moore, John Mehigan, Scott Horsley and Jennifer Bobier of CB Richard Ellis represented Dress Barn. Jim Duke, Carol Schillne and Shannon North of CB Richard Ellis represented the landlord, CIN Imperial LP.
OTHER
Orange-based title insurer American National Financial Inc. opened five offices in Clark County, Nev., though its Pioneer National Title of Nevada Inc. subsidiary.
