Tho Luu, owner of Century TV and Appliance Corp., paid $2.3 million for a 39,089-square-foot building at 302 N. Townsend St. in Santa Ana from Marlin-Davidson, an investment group that owns Santa Ana-based Marline Manufacturing. Liem Nguyen of Prudential Real Estate represented Tho Luu and Appliance Corp. Gregory Ozimec of Voit Commercial Brokerage’s Irvine office represented Marlin-Davidson.
David Peairs acquired a 15,715-square-foot industrial building at 1961 Petra Lane in Placentia from Creative Sales Inc. in an expansion and relocation transaction at $1.4 million. Newport Beach-based CT Realty Corp. purchased the 53,000-square-foot former Callaway Golf Co. headquarters in Carlsbad from Callaway Golf for $4.9 million. Lannie Allee and Dough Simpson of Coldwell Banker Commercial’s Carlsbad office represented both parties. CT Realty will redevelop the property from a single-tenant facility into a multi-tenant office project, investing more than $1 million.
Brandywine Development Co. bought a 1.2-acre site at 12281 Euclid Ave. in Garden Grove from long-time Garden Grove resident Pauline Crouch. Lisa Whang of O’Donnell/Atkins Co. represented Brandywine Development. Brandywine plans to build 17 single family residences on a 3,000-square-foot lot within a gated community.

State Farm Mutual Insurance Co. leased a 3,507-square-foot office space at 2495 E. Orangethorpe Ave. in Fullerton. The 5-year contract was valued at $215,000. Tom Abel of CB Richard Ellis’ Anaheim office represented State Farm.
Indymac Bank added 15,000 square feet in the Irvine Spectrum. R. Todd Doney and Kevin Bender of Insignia/ESG assisted Indymac Bank. The landlord, The Irvine Company, represented itself.
Axiom Navigation Inc. leased a 24,024-square-foot building at 3545 Howard Way in Costa Mesa from Bravante-Curci LLC. The seven-year lease was valued at $2 million. Gieling Transportation leased a 100,000-square-foot facility at 515 E. Dyer Road in Santa Ana. The 10-year lease was valued at $4.4 million. The firm relocated and expanded its headquarters from Fountain Valley, Garden Grove and Santa Ana to the new facility.
