Performance Equipment Co. purchased a 19,268-square-foot industrial building at 19652 Descartes in Foothill Ranch. The value of the transaction was $1.6 million. California Western Properties Inc. purchased a 10,656-square-foot office building in Anaheim. The value of the transaction was approximately $1 million. WJR Communications purchased a 26,480-square-foot office building at 7 Cushing in Irvine. The value of the transaction was $2,489,977. Meade Instruments Corp. leased 42,000 square feet of warehouse space at 6485 Oak Canyon in Irvine. The value of the five-year lease was $1.7 million. Chip Wright of CB Richard Ellis in Newport Beach represented the telescope manufacturer. Gary Allen and Jeff Diltz of Grubb & Ellis represented the sublessor, Display Works. The space is owned by The Irvine Co.
MGM UPS leased 64,412-square-feet of industrial space at 4011 Carriage Drive in Santa Ana. The five-year lease was valued at $2.1 million. New Horizons Worldwide Inc. preleased 75,000 square feet of office space at Stadium Gateway, 1900 S. State College Blvd. in Anaheim. The value of the 10-year lease was $20 million. CONTRACTS
KTGY Group, an Irvine-based architectural firm, was awarded a contract to design Phase II of the Concordia University freshman dormitories.
Donald Mueller Associates of Aliso Viejo was commissioned as the architect for the eight-building College Commerce Center industrial park in Upland. The buildings will range from 10,000 square feet to 42,000 square feet, and will total 187,000 square feet.
Snyder Langston, Irvine, was awarded a contract to build Ocean Ranch II, a 45,127-square-foot office building in Laguna Niguel. The contract was awarded by Shea Properties of Mission Viejo.
Newport Beach-based CT Realty Corp. was selected by the Long Beach Redevelopment Agency to develop Artesia Business Center, a 70,000-square-foot industrial complex in Long Beach. The contract is valued at $4.5 million.
